Conventional marketing still plays a big role in the 21st century. Conventional marketing has multiple channels from where one can market and advertise including, Electronic, Print, and Radio. Most of the advertising companies work on all of these channels and social media marketing now as well. These companies provide printing services in Pakistan on a large scale. Most of these agencies have been around for a long time and know the tricks of the trade.
It is tough to say which of these agencies provides the best printing services, but one thing we can say for sure is that they are well qualified to perform these duties. Different companies have different styles of working around these mediums. Some excel in electronic, some in digital, and others in print. But generally, all of the agencies have apt knowledge about the functionality of these mediums.
What is print advertising?
Print advertising comes under conventional marketing and comprises printed media which is used to reach potential audience/customers on a broad scale. Ads are printed in newspapers, brochures, magazines, pamphlets, and so on. These ads are impactful because they are physically accessible. The reader can keep them if he or she is interested and use them when required, for example when they want to inquire about a product or a brand, they can contact by using the contact details on the ad. This cannot be done in other media, for example, if you pass a billboard while driving, you may not be able to look at it completely or even take a picture on your phone to look at later, and let’s face it, no one really does that. And on digital platforms, ads are effective but they disappear if you do not immediately interact with them.

There are four major different types of print advertising:

- Direct Mail
- Brochures
Now, let’s briefly talk about all four of these.
Newspaper
Newspapers are still a pretty powerful medium because of their authenticity and serious tone. People who read newspapers are well-educated and well-aware of their surroundings thus making them the perfect audience for multiple products and brands. They are keen and engage heavily with the content they see. Newspaper ads leave a mark on the readers and hence are a pretty useful medium for advertising agencies.
Magazine
Publications are very important even now. There are loyal readers of various popular magazines and they trust the content they see in these magazines. The quality of printed material is also better in magazines and there is more room to play for the creative and design department. This is not always possible in the case of newspapers due to the limitations of some pages being black and white. Magazines are a great way to create a buzz around your brand or product.
Direct Mail
This one may be shocking to some people, to the Millenials, or especially to the Gen-Z but direct mail has also had a lasting impact to date. A product or service that is accessible to a certain area can be marketed through direct mail. It can ensure quite a good footfall as the people in surrounding areas find it feasible if the place they wish to explore is nearby. For example, if a beauty parlor is located in an area that is far from the main city but is nearer to the inhabitants of the area, direct mail can prove to be effective for such a business. Now, we do realize this is more effective for small-scale businesses but that doesn’t deny the fact that it is a pretty powerful medium.
Brochures
Brochures are a great way to put all the important information about your brand or product/service out there, in the reach of the target audience. And this audience also gets to save it for later. They are a great way to generate positive word of mouth around your brand or business.

To conclude, I must say, print advertising is pretty much relevant even in today’s age. Where social media and digital marketing are making headlines. Print holds importance and will continue to do so in the foreseeable future. And agencies will continue to provide printing services in Pakistan.
