Yamaha Motor Company is a pioneer in making bikes. More than their scooters, their bikes sell the most. They have a wide range of bikes that are of good build quality, have aggressive looks, and excellent riding dynamics. Moreover, they are also robust, and according to a Consumer Reports survey, their bikes ranked the highest. The bikemaker ranked the highest in terms of customer satisfaction and reliability.
The Yamaha engineers also command a certain prestige. No wonder the company ranked the highest. And that is why top carmakers like Toyota, Lexus, Volvo, and Ford have partnered with Yamaha for engine component design and production to supply the carmakers. On that note, Yamaha also revolutionalised the 2-stroke by designing the ‘Autolube’ technology (automatic lubrication) in the 1960s. That technology replaced the engine’s gas supply and oil mixture systems with a separate oil injection mechanism.
On the other hand, the bikemaker is also widely acclaimed for its motorsport achievements.
In short, the Japanese bikemaker is renowned in every department. Whether it’s innovation in technology, motorsports achievements, engineering, or designing their products, they ace it in everything.
